Day 4

Today we started with the same routine, getting up around 6:30am, getting breakfast, packing lunch and we met at the work site at 8am. We worked on the porches on house #1 and finshed them up just after lunch time.

Lunch consisted of more MRE's

Yesterday Tod had very carefully cut all the deck boards for the porch he was working on and then a certain other member went and cut them all shorter for the other porch. So we had some very friendly words...of course it was friendly!

So today Tom decided to steal some tools for other members and we got a shot of him, you can see he was very remorseful.

So house #1 was basically finished.

We then moved on to house #2. More painting and porches.

We are getting to be porch and stairs experts, so things started to come together very quickly on house #2.

We had to wrap up early today because the site managers all had a meeting, so around 2:15pm we wrapped up for the day. Obviously we could have gotten more done if we could have stayed longer, but I'm not sure many of us were complaining to get out early.
