Day 4 - Part 2

After we showered up yesterday afternoon, we decided to head off-site for dinner. Pierre and Mark went into New Orleans with another volunteer that we met here and the rest of us went to a restaurant named Charlies. The food was VERY good!

After dinner, we found a place that we could drive over the levee and and watch the boats on the Mississippi river as the sun went down. It is amazing how busy the Mississippi river is with boat traffic (and some VERY large boats!)

We then went back to Camp Hope.

We were very happy that security was so tight getting into Camp Hope!

Off to sleep and ready for another day.
