Day 1

The day started around 5:45am at Manchester Baptist Church. Special thanks to Lisa Biggar and Bev Carpenter for driving us into the airport.
Logan security managed to let all of us through with no major problems.

Pierre bought us all breakfast at Johnny Rockets

The flight was uneventful and we all arrived safely in New Orleans. We met up with Paul Helgesen who just flew in from Texas after working for the Red Cross for the last two weeks. We were all very happy to see him again. It sounded like it was a very busy and stressful time for him but he was able to help out a lot of people while he was there.

Pastor David tried to get his bag "blown up" by security a few times by first leaving his bag at the Enterprise counter unattended and then leaving it on the enterprise shuttle, but luckily he got back to it before security found it. :)
